May 7th, 2007, will live on in history as the day the Pastor changed his stripes. At the evening service of the Central Florida District Conference,  Pastor Paul and Rebekah Burdick became official Nazarene Pastoral elders, as Wesleyan Church credentials were recognized and entered into the record.

Pastor Paul graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with both a B.A. and M.A. in Pastoral ministries and Biblical studies before serving in the Wesleyan Church right out of school since 1990.

"I guess it was time to come home." says Pastor Paul, "for it is of the Lord that we should make it home."

Certainly there is much to do before that ultimate departure to heaven.
