The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday here at Wesley Chapel. You don't have to be a member of the Church to receive the Lord's Supper, simply know in your heart and mind that you are living in a manner worthy of the Gospel.
What does that mean? That means you have made the confession that Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord, that you have confessed your sins to Him, believing He alone can save you, and that you are living your life to honor Him bearing His name, Christ-ian.
In the Protestant tradition, Communion, also known as The Lord's Supper, is a memorial, and remembrance of the last supper when Jesus, on the night before He was to be crucified, shared the Passover Feast with his disciples. In the actual Passover Feast, there is more than one cup represented with individual meanings. We practice this Christian sacrament as a remembrance that one day we will eat the bread and drink of the one cup of salvation, symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ Who died for our sins, and was raised from the tomb, prooving to the world that Jesus Is Lord!
Please join us. For all are welcome to eat at the Lord's table.
