It seems the only way the National Day of Prayer gets to be newsworthy, is that a church, school or community organization has to promote the event themselves. I searched the website engine of the Tampa Tribune and found no item written by their staff or inserted from national news sources. I will look again.
In times of such great violence and news, what is wrong with supporting the positive action of faithful people to intercede on the part of a world of anger? Is the Tribune angry with religion? Was the news reported as a silent statement by not reporting about it at all? The nation is at war and the Tribune only wants to talk property tax reform.

God help one of the more violent cities in America, Tampa, FL, when prayer is forgotten. WE forgive them as it proves again, "They know not what they do..." and we turn the other cheek for their disciminating silence. From the Biblical ghettos come the prayers of the faithful to help you Tampa, but believe this, our prayers will not remain silent.
